Chief Rodney J. Mendoza has 27 years of diverse law enforcement experience. Chief Mendoza holds a Master’s Degree from Gonzaga University in Organizational Leadership, a Bachelors Degree from the University of Laverne in Criminology and is a graduate of the Arizona State University Executive Certified Public Management Program. Chief Mendoza is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy and a graduate of the FBI Southwest Command College. Since 2004 Chief Mendoza has been Chief of Police for the Town of Parker, Arizona and prior service consisted of 21 years with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, Ventura California. Chief Mendoza is President of the Western Arizona Law Enforcement Association and the Chairperson for the La Paz County Narcotics Task Force. In 2006 he was selected to serve as an advisor on the Arizona Governor’s Board of Highway Safety. Chief Mendoza also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
