Chief's biography: Chief Mendoza proudly seved in the United States Marine Corps. earning an honorable discharge in 1980. He began his law enforcement career with the Ventura County (California) Sheriff's Office. He rose to the rank of Captain and retired from that agency in 2000. He was hired by the Town of Parker as Chief of Police in May, 2004. Chief Mendoza holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from the University of Laverne and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. Chief Mendoza graduated from the 225th session of the FBI National Academy in June, 2006.
